Building A Cube

I'm building a cube, for drafting when we get sick of M10 and ACR or whatever. I prefer trading cards for whatever I ask for, but I'm not opposed to buying if it's at a reduced price or borrowing your cards for the purposes of the group. Donations of commons and uncommons is greatly appreciated.
I'll start with lands as I have the best idea of what's needed there. Feel free to make suggestions for cards to put in. I'd like to give combo a chance so the pool should be kept to <500 cards and have plenty of combo enablers.

Quick suggestions:

I didn't see much point in the artifact lands, but as there are some affinity/modular cards, why not (not sure Orni is worth it too)..

crystal vein can get the axe

If you've chromatic star, maybe sphere could be worth it too. I found we might lack some fixing. maybe even something like fellwar stone.

I would remove Illusion Donate maybe, other combos such as prot hulk (maybe add a flash ) reveilalrk etc, or channel/fireball are ok, because it's good cards in their own. But donate...

Removing some soldier stuff, like the banneret is probably fine, and if you replace by other quality white cards, by exemple decree of justice and exalted angel. Eternal Dragon could be worth it too, especially if at some point you add the ravnica block duals.

You could add the new terror, from M10. I don't remember seeing nekrataal, it would fit too. Just be careful not to make black too strong.

You should add Pulse, and if you get one vindicate, I found more artifact or enchentment removal was needed. Maybe even desert twister, and the new green 2/2, that does creeping mold.

So I've already performed some changes to the list, as well as come up with something of a "want list"

First things first, something for the combo players: I've added a "Joker" card, quite literally with "The Joker" from Marvel's Vs. card game. Here's what it does: it allows the drafter to replace it with a single card from outside the pool of drafted cards during deck construction. In a sense, it is a replacement for the Wishes, most of which have been major Constructed players, without the clunkiness of having to look through the Cube for a particular card every time a Wish is cast.

If Joker turns out to be waaay too powerful (I'm 95% fine with 1st pick always) , we'll replace him with 4 of the judgement wishes (all but death) and you pick something outside the drafted pool that the card says you can search for, but only once and only during deck construction.

Crystal Vein is pretty much a placeholder for either City of Traitors or ideally Mishra's Workshop (ha ha).

Affinity could be removed totally, but I was hoping to sway away from all the decks just being midrange or control and throwing five drops at each other. Maybe adding some esper stuff from Alara block could help (Esper Stormblade seems a worthy addition, but I'm unsure what after that). Other than that, arcbound stinger and Quumulox from Mirrodin could be good. Adding borderposts could help affinity a bit.

Maybe removing Cycling subtheme would open some space for all that.

I've already added Disenchant and Quasali Pridemage, hopefully the addition of Maelstrom Pulse and Vindicate will give us enough enchantment removal but not too much that disenchant/naturalize are always 15th picks.

Anyone who's gotten this far should know that goblins is a solid strategy but one that might go away. Currently there's 21 goblin cards in the pool, including all 4 goblin lords. Somebody should try them out if they seem open. Nobody got a chance to play them in the last draft as I was drafting a sick U/W control deck and nobody else knew that goblins ran deep.

Most of the crazy two card combos are around, so if you see one try to get the other. Here I'll say to Remy: I'm fine with Donate always going 15th pick as Illusions combos with a few other cards as well as the rest of blue is ridiculously strong so some filler isn't minded terribly.

How many proxy cards are people comfortable with? We have 11 proxy cards now, and I think 20 would be the extreme.
